The prestigious East Midlands Women’s Awards (EMWA), which is now in its third year, was held at Nottingham’s stunning Colwick Hall and hosted by BBC Radio Leicester presenters Rupal Rajani and Dave Andrews, with special guest the Lord Lieutenant of Nottinghamshire, Sir John Peace in attendance who voiced his interest in increasing the number of women in senior roles.
These women are role models and they all inspire others. They have been on the Woman Who journey and have shared their story as a keynote speaker at Woman Who events over the last 4 years.
Each woman shares her business journey, including the challenges she has faced, how she overcame them, her top tips, favourite quote, and a key message.
Neighbourhood Forum Nominee Cllr Lucy Lewin has been awarded the prestigious ‘Outstanding female leader in a market town’ award at the 2019 East Midlands Women’s Awards held in Colwick Hall, Nottinghamshire on Friday October 11th 2019 in the presence of the Lord Lieutenant of Nottinghamshire.
