On Friday 11th October, women from the East Midlands were celebrated at the East Midlands Women’s Awards.

This year, we’ve launched a brand-new blog series – ‘Ask the Expert’.
This provides a platform for all Early Years (EY) professionals, where they can share their experiences and advice with the industry, on their chosen specialist subject.
So, whether you’re a policy expert, nutrition specialist, or knowledgeable practitioner, we want to hear from you!
Lucy Lewin joined Little Angels Uppingham in 2010, having previously read early childhood education at Anglia Ruskin University. In addition to her role at Little Angels, Lewin also serves as an Associate Trainer for the National Day Nurseries Association. In September 2020, Lucy appeared on a Leaders Council of Great Britain & Northern Ireland podcast, discussing the importance of leadership and the impact it has had on their career to date.

Lucy is passionate about delivering first class, flexible childcare in her own nursery setting but identified a gap in her own development when her nursery business took off. Instead of running away, Lucy developed her skills to support her business.
